Petitioning for Late Withdrawal from Courses

All required late withdrawal petition materials should be submitted to the Center for Academic Performance and Persistence through the online form listed at the bottom of this page.

 All petition packets must include:

  • The petition form filled out, including all answers to all explanation questions, provided by the student
  • Official documentation supporting the reason(s) for withdrawal stated in the letter of explanation

Incomplete packets or packets with insufficient information or documentation will not be considered.

Please be aware, the submission of the courses and instructor names in the petition form prompts the CAPP Office to reach out to each instructor to obtain acknowledgment from them that a student is looking to withdrawal from their course after the deadline. No further information about the student's case is shared.
